Arte Revolucionario del Perú
The art displayed here was mainly created by imprisoned fighters
and supporters of the PCP. The materials to produce these artworks
had to be smuggled into the prisons by friends and family. The
art has since made its way around the world. Many of the artists
were killed in the prison massacres of June 1986 and September 1992.El arte desplegado aqui fue principalmente creado por guerilleros en prisión y apoyadores del PCP. Los materiales para producir estos trabajos de arte tuvieron que ser contrabandiados a la prisión por amigos y familiares. Desde entonces este arte ha ido alrededor del mundo. Muchos de los artistas fueron asesinados en las masacres de la prisión.
